The Second World War took place from the year 1939 to 1945 and it took place between the Axis Powers and the Allied Powers. This war is regarded as the worst war in history because it led to the deaths of a huge number of people. This war has seen the use of different kinds of life threatening weapons by different countries. Given below are some of the weapons that were used during the World War II:
Bazooka – This weapon is the kind of weapon that has a lengthy metal smoothbore tube for the purpose of shooting rockets that could penetrate through the armor. This weapon was used for the purpose of short range shooting.

60 Pounder – It refers to a medium field gun that was made and used by the British. This weapon is a five inch/127 mm weapon and it was usually used for the purpose of counter-battery fire. The British army made us of this weapon till the year 1944.

Katyusha – It refers to the kind of artillery that has rocket launchers in them in place of the traditional guns. This weapon was made and used by the Soviet Union during the start of the Second World War. This kind of weapon was cheap and its production was not complicated.

Gustav – It refers to an eighteen centimeter K (E) railway guns that were used by the Germans. It was first made during the end of the 1930s for the purpose of use during the Second World War. This type of weapon was also commonly referred to as Dora and Schwerer Gustav.

Browning HP – It refers to a pistol that was used by many countries during the Second World War. John Browning of the United States created this weapon in the year 1922.

Baretta Model 1934 – It refers to a solid and partly automatic pistol that was used by the Italian army for the purpose of use during the Second World War. The weapon itself was manufactured in Italy and it was put in production during the year 1934, up to 1990, 1 080 000 had been produced.

FN Model 1910 – This pistol was created by John Browning and was a partly automatic pistol. The producer of this pistol was Fabrique Nationale, which is a manufacturer of weapons in Belgium. It was in production from the year 1910 till the year 1983.

Vis – It refers to a single action, partly automatic pistol that has a caliber of 9 mm. During the Second World War, the army of Poland used this pistol. It is regarded as one of the best handguns that have been manufactured.
